It feels great though. I know it was a good choice and Cameron agrees with that. :)
so... this morning, Cameron and I headed off for the north shore at about 8 am and picked up Poppy on the way there. After checking a few points, rocky rights was chosen for this morning's surf sesh. Cameron was way excited to get out there and so we hurried out and I set up my little camp on the sand and wrote in my journal and read a bit.
the boys looked like they were having fun and to my suprise I looked up and saw Cameron coming in rather early. He had a bummed out face on, was limping, and I realize he broke the tip of his board off (still fixable though). bummmmer....I asked him how he did it and then he showed me his leg, his tip broke off by hitting his leg. (he was mostly bummed about his board) i got some stuff to clean him up from the life guard, got Poppy to come in, and headed home. Atleast Cameron said he got a good barrel on the wave he did the damage on haha...
I have a feeling that while living in Hawaii, we might be going through boards like underwear.
:) we'll have to make a board emergency savings account.

Oh how perfect!! I'm so happy for you guys!!
Kindsay is looking for someone to take her case as a skills trainer. She has to leave it when she starts over here at the Hales, but she really wants to give it to someone that she likes, because she LOVES her client!!
Anyway... just call me.
Lance, "on his leg?!...that really sucks!". Man Cam, that looks like a decent owie. That also really sucks about the board. When Lance and I were first married I was getting really freaked out about how much money we were going to end up spending up on boards, but he has actually been really good. Hopefully those Hawaii waves won't put you too much in the hole:) That is SO exciting about your new job too! Lance, "now we for sure have to find a way to get out to Hawaii!" How fun.
good you got that job! Now you dont have to make that awful drive everyday! lucky you guys living in that part of the house!
I am so happy for you that you do not have to work in town anymore. I had to do that for two years and it is not cool. Also I think it is a great idea to start a surf board savings account!!!
Hey Linds, I tagged you! Check out my blog for details!
