moving is great (after you've moved)

Moving is really the biggest pain but so nice once it's over!
We've moved from our little Hauula hut to Jeanne's 4 bedroom guest house. At first, Cameron and I were thinking, ah ya it'll be a couple trips with the car and that will be it! Haha... ya right. I wish. Two turned into maybe seven. I guess you don't realize how much stuff you really have till you clear it out of your house! So at least we've cleared out everything from the old house and into the new. And let me tell you, the space in the new place is unreal and it's so nice to live in a place that feels like a home rather than a hut. Huts are cute, but homes are comfortable. We have most of our stuff put away (except my never-ending pile of clothes) now we just need to paint a few things (maybe walls, we'll see) and we'll be settled in for good.

This last weekend (in the midst of our moving) we decided to neglect everything we needed to do, go downtown, and meet the Nelsons, Duffins, and Thompsons. We ate Panda Express and saw the new Batman Movie. It was so so so good! I would go see it again in a heart beat! I had a horrible ear ache during the movie but I didn't want to leave early so I withstood the pain. Right after the movie, we quickly headed to the emergency room to get my ear all figured out which got us home sometime after 2 am.

So needless to say, we've been quite busy. And maybe causing a little extra on ourselves. :)

Yesterday for work, Jeanne and I went out with a full list of errands to do. About 30 minutes into our drive, I realized Jeanne forgot to put in her teeth! I asked her if she did this on purpose and if she needed them for lunch but she said she forgot and it was more comfortable with out them. She apologized about a hundred times to me (which I could care less about her exposed gums) and told me I could act like I didn't know her and we could sit at separate tables at lunch. haha... I assured her that I did not care one bit and we went on our way.
Side note: If you're every in Pearl Ridge area and down for some good Thai food, visit Champa Thai (in Pearl Kai Shopping Center). Both Jeanne and I were very impressed with food, service, and price!

I'm hoping to post pictures of our new place when we get the painting done but who knows when that is going to happen... maybe this weekend? Lets hope so!

Lindsay!! I can't believe Jeanne forgot her teeth. That's hilarious! I'm glad you guys are enjoying the place. It definitely does feel more like a home. I remembered that we left some sheets in the dryer when we left. Oops..sorry about that.
