Riding my pink body board!!! I still call them "boogie boards" but I guess that's not the cool way to say it. I didn't get to go out far with my body board because I still don't have fins and the current was strong. After flipping through one of Cameron's surf magazines the other day, I realized I NEED this for the complete body boarding getup:

Also, Cameron and I had such a great time on Saturday body surfing (me doing accidental cartwheels under water) on the north shore.
brownies for breakfast: the best way to start your day. Cameron makes brownies extra mushy so I like to put them in the fridge over night and eat them in the morning cold. Cold and chewy... yumm.
Air fresheners: I've always been big into scents. Candles, plug-ins, diffuser reeds, whatever. I have an aunt who always had her home smelling perfect and everything in the house smelt like it and I always loved that. I felt extra special tonight when the home teachers commented on how good our house smelt! Of course there are times when my husband can undo it all (maybe after a burrito) but I won't get into that. My favorite scent right now is Febreeze Moroccan Bazaar. I highly suggest it.
I have yet to find the plug-ins in the Moroccan scent on the island but I know they exist.
See, read... same thing. Right now I'm starting the book The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James. Because I am not in school right now, Jeanne has decided she wants to play school-- Jeanne's the teacher and me the student. Deep down inside Jeanne wishes she was a professor at Princeton or Harvard. This is one of the two books I must read to compare. She has been checking up on me daily to see my status. It's really funny how she loves to do this. It doesn't hurt to read a classic and it's great to see Jeanne enjoy it.
Do you remember the opening song in The Lion King? "Ahhhhh- say- bin yah!..." Well Jeanne's property includes a large rock bluff that protrudes into the ocean and divides us from Pounders beach. There is a man that has lived on the bluff, (no I've never seen him, he's pretty far up there) for quite some time and I guess he's harmless. Well, recently we've been hearing him do these really loud chants! They're hilarious but kind of cool because he's really good at them. They sound something like the Lion King or maybe a Native American chant. Anyhow I laugh every time I hear them but they keep life interesting. Never a dull day on this property.

Nice. I like those morroccan scents. My fave at the moment is using that swiffer dust and shine lavendar vanilla scent. It is so nice to dust with and it smells oh so good...I'd recommend for sure.
That sounds like a dream or something, standing on a cliff of sorts (I don't know what it looks like where you are) and chanting stuff at the top of your lungs. Someday....someday.
chants!?? what the heck. that's weird!
the plugs are on the island! walmart or costco, they have them! we buy them for the vacation rental all the time and they are delightful.
this was a cute post. i laughed out loud about cameron undoing all good smells after a burrito!
portrait of a lady = bueno! good going with the classics, just like we talked about ;)
Haha! I love the Lion King chanting! Thats hilarious!
I'm obsessed with plug-ins and candles! I have them all over the apartment and they are usually a vanilla/cinnanmon scent! Love it!
