Before Krew was born, I was registering and writing lists of the many new baby things I might need with the little one almost here. I saw those typical "Baby on Board" signs and thought, What is that really going to do? Isn't that what kind of intense moms do? Will it be giving off too much information inviting some crazy baby stealer to stalk our car? Will someone actually reconsider being a jerk on the road after they see this sign?
On July 23rd of last year, Cameron and I buckled in our little newborn into his what seemed like a huge car seat. We drove the hour ride home at about 7 miles per hour. We had some seriously precious cargo. At that moment, I was wishing I had 20 "baby on board" signs or rather a large, neon, blinking sign on the back of our car that said "48-HOUR NEWBOARD BOARD! STAY AWAY!" I think our hour ride turned into a 2 hour car ride. It was so scary trusting other drivers with a new little baby in my car.
The other day, Krew and I were walking out of the grocery store when a person drives dangerously close to us and almost hitting us. I was fumed and as they sped away, dangling in their back window was "Baby on Board". REALLY? How about "I don't break for babies". If you're promoting safe driving around little ones by stickers or dangling signs from your back windows, try to do it on the streets. Is that too much to ask?
I'm not so convinced these signs encourage people outside or inside to improve their driving for babies' sake.

I have to say when i read the title of this post i thought you were going to announce you were prego again! haha I was way off!
Maybe you should buy bulk stickers that say "I dont break for babies" and put it on the rude drivers cars as they pass... :)
Yes, I had the same thoughts as the commenter above! I thought you had a new little one on the way!
We certainly should all be careful on the road. If only we really took time to think about the people around us before we get in our cars... There are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and even little babies all around us!
