in the last week...

In the last week I have...

-pulled a kernel of corn, a black been and a green bean (with some length) out of Krew's nose. This has been a new thing. (no one warned me about this.)
-asked by a man at my door if he could speak to the parent of the home. (really, do I look that young?)
-been asked by the Target employee (while doing some returns) if I have someone else do my shopping. (what does this even mean??? Obviously I was doing too many returns.)
-received a sweet surprise of flowers from my man. (I'm a seriously lucky gal...)
-bought a new can opener that makes me almost as happy as those ^ flowers.
-been waiting to go back-to-school shopping. My internal timer is going off like crazy but I'm not in school anymore. But... I still want to go shopping. boo.
-named a playlist in my Spotify as "choo choo". I think I am officially in toddler land. (Can my friend's see that?? Oh, boy... that's embarrassing.)
-I have been dying over the reviews of NY Fashion week's shows and spring previews. (I need an orangey lip color stat!)
-been blessed with the best beach buddy. And he's cute, happy, and little.

I always get that back to school shopping bug too this time of year. I'm not even teaching anymore so my head tries to fast forward to Halloween. If I was smart I would channel it into Christmas shopping. . .

I thought having a kid would solve my dilemma about looking 10 years younger than my age (I am 25), but apparently that doesn't work either! You've got a great little family.

You and Krew are so cute, it makes me look forward to when my little man gets older and can enjoy going out and playing! Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog :)

This reminded me how much I desperately want a new can opener.
