I did go jogging once while camping... and about died from the elevation. Does that count? ;)
So this week I'm trying to get a back on track and avoid those treats and pack in the veggies and other jewels pictured above^^ (there are dark little avocados in the middle that are hard to see). Oh, and I've managed to avoid pasta and bread for an entire week! That is A LOT coming from a carb loving lady. I won't do this forever but I thought I would try for a week because I was having waaay to much.
And to top this whole healthy feeling off, I signed up for my 2nd Half Marathon! (I'm not sure an exclamation point is appropriate but I'm trying to be optimistic). No, but really, I could feel the urge to do another one strangely enough (never thought I would say that) and will be running a whopping 13.1 miles the second week of November. And that means that my 10-week training starts Monday! Hope you have a fun and sunny labor day! (I'll be running for part of it!)

Ugh, on the same boat here. Went to the market today and loaded up on fruits and actually skipped on the bread. AND hopefully will get up early and go run tomorrow morning (but sleeping in sounds so much better.) Cheers to being healthy! Xo

It's an Easy Life
are you doing the Santa Barbara half?!! i'm still waiting for both the half-marathon and healthy eating itch....they haven't visited me all summer!
So cute!! All of it. I spent about thirty minutes getting caught up. I love your red bathing suit and the bluer one. Where is the red one from? I'm trying to get back to the gym after all the summer chaos we've endured... cute, cute blog. Take care,
Shauna
Props to you for training for a half-marathon! I thought I was a rock star for training for a 10K..until I realized that I hate running and immediately stopped training. :) Good luck!
wahoo good job! too bad we cant train together.
Working out and vacation don't seem to go hand in hand. And this is why life can't just be one long travel adventure (as much as I would love that.) Good luck with your upcoming race!
