shall we talk about the weather?
I would be lying if I said those were fall leaves at my feet. Maybe a few but mostly old trimmings from yard work. Pretending is allowed.
Although we may not have the fall foliage or brisk air of New England, today we had some colder weather in the mid 60's and a little sprinkle of rain. Just enough to make it feel Fall-ish.
There have been many Fall "to-do's" posted around and I've mentally thrown around some of my own.
#1: caramel apple cider from Starbucks. That sounds so yummy right now. And the rest of the list is still pending.
I plan on cooking pumpkiny treats and making my house smell like wonderful goodness but in the meantime I bought a fall scented candle.
ha.
not near as yummy.
What are you doing to bring on autumn?

That's great that you're celebrating fall even if the weather is still quite nice : ) I live in the Midwest and am hoping to go hiking this weekend while the air is crisp and the leaves are turning. I love this time of year!
I currently live in Florida, so I understand pretending. I have the candle, the cider, the seasonal starbucks drinks, and cuddling. I am looking forward to the apple pie!
To make it feel like fall, we burn cinnamon incense sticks and drag our cozy throws out from behind the couches!
Oooooh....I think I shall go bake some pumpkiny yummies, too!
Fall is just starting to arrive here too, not quiet all the way, but enough to make me happy! I love this season:)
Pretending is definitely allowed! Especially for a super cute boot picture like that! I have way too many to things on my Fall to do list, but next up is taking the baby to a small pumpkin patch (I plan on going to at least 3 lol)

your blogg is so cute. another one for your fall to do list. take a trip up to julian for some apple pie.
i muss mention that i love the nail polish colour! and i love fall, too :)
It definitely sounds like you're having fall weather :) I pretend to be baking pumkiny treats by throwing in a pumpkin sentsy.. haha my poor husband :)
Fall is one of my absolute favorite seasons. My husband and I just moved to Amsterdam from Portland, OR and it's rather difficult to find canned pumpkin for baking and fall scented candles :/ Sad... Will need to find other ways to cozy up for fall!
P.S. new to your blog and really loving it :)
I put out a fall wreath on my front door and have some pumpkin smelling candles throughout the house. I also need to switch out the pillow on my couch from my summer set to my fall set. Yes I have sets of pillow for almost every season :)
Well, it's still quite warm where I am, so I'm enjoying Pumpkin Spice Lattes (iced haha) and decorating a bit around here, regardless of the 90 degree temperature :)
P.S. have I ever told you how gorgeous you are? I love all of your photos, girl! and Krew looks so cute in that first picture :)
I love fall <3 I cannot wait to get to the pumpkin patch and make sugar cookie cut outs! I still have yet to decorate though :-/
We haven't felt fall either (well, I consider it feeling like fall when it hits 90 instead of 105, so I suppose we're closing in on fall :) but I do love it when it finally hits the 60's!
your boots. LOVE them :) And yay for fall!...bring on the warm drinks, baked goods, and a more cozy wardrobe.
and lindsay i read back on your blog and saw a link to your sweet Krew's birth...I went and and loved reading every word of his sweet birth story! What a blessing it happened the way it did :) Mine was similar to yours! I must admit, I prepared for birth with the plan of an epidural ;) But my little Brooks wanted to get here quickly and we didn't have time by the time we got to the hospital. Right after you had your little boy wasn't it the most euphoric feeling?? :) Yay for having baby boys!...that all too soon grow up. but they sure are cute :)
Very cute pics! I'll be decorating for Halloween/fall sometime next week. :)
so cute! NOT even a hint of fall around here!
Today it was chilly and pouring and I loved it! It's supposed to be in the 80's again by the end of the week though :(
pretty soon you'll be featured on one of those top mommy blogs :)
Great pictures! Arizona does not really have autumn...so I like to pretend! I have some pumpkins and sunflowers up in my place...they remind me of fall!
i love the part that says 'the rest of the list is pending'! so awesome!
everything fall pretty much rocks.
xoxo
love that nail color!! what is it?
In my mind, you live in near-perfect weather all year long, so embracing Fall is great no matter where one lives. I forgot about how great the caramel apple cider is...and it's a good thing that (to my surprise) there's actually a Starbucks over here. :)
really like the pictures...very autumn.
