My shiny new iphone.I always swore I wouldn't get an iphone before I owned a house ($$) but the stars aligned and the price was right so... i did it. But that's beside the point.
In one of the many searches to find my misplaced phone, I used Cameron’s cell to call mine. And guess what…
I found myself in Cameron's phone contacts as "Lindsay Rondo", my full and official name. I of course brought this to Cameron’s attention and asked if he could be any more formal? He saw nothing wrong with it; it was my name. Not even just Lindsay? Okay there might be another Lindsay since it was a popular name of the 1980's so it's possible there might be a duplicate but I am THE Lindsay to him. Or how about Wife? Or My Girl? Or some other endearing name other than “Lindsay Rondo”. So jokingly I gave him a hard time for it and then told him that I want my name changed in his contacts for Christmas. Later, I mentioned this in front of my sister-in-law and friend and they both said they found the same thing in their husband’s phone. So good to hear I’m not alone.
All I know is that Christmas morning I better be “angel-pie-face-lovey-loo-loo” or something along those lines. :)

haha i think boys always default to whats most practical (at least mine does). I don't think I have a fancy name in my husband's phone either. Maybe I will write santa a letter...

that's soo funny I always am trying to convince my husband to change me in his contacts. Mine is such a funny title before I tell you it you have to understand how sarcastic my husband is .. anyways he has me in his phone as "Eternal Spouse" lol he thinks it's hilarious & I've even changed it but he always changes it back to E.S. ughh men lol

haha i was bria pratt until we got married and i stole his phone and put awesome wife so that I would be on the top of the list. luckily he never changed it back and i've been awesome wife ever since.
I love your new iphone! I've been contemplating whether or not I should switch to one for a while now. I think I'm sold. As far as the contact name goes, in my boyfriends phone I'm listed as my full name as well. Sigh. lol. Looks like there are quite a few of us out there that need to write a Christmas wish list! At least we're not alone!
when my husband first met me he put me in his phone as "girl with the black hair" I was still under that name until I finally changed it after 6 months of being married. Guys just don't think of these things.

Boys are just like that. My fiance was in my phone first as "baby sexy love" and then later as "fiance bojangles" for some reason or another. I've always just been in there as Anna Rice. Yawn.

hahaha! Oh my gosh, I'm glad to know I'm not alone too! My husband totally has my full name in there, like I'm a random acquaintance. I tried to get him to change it a couple years ago... never happened.
HAHA this is so hilarious and SO true. about a year ago i looked at my husbands "favorites" in his phone and I was dead last (mom and sister were first)...i quickly brought it to his attention that this is not the way it works- i am his #1 woman. i might be a little high maitenance about that stuff..oops :)

and my hubs totally has my first and last name as my contact too! same with his parents' and grandparents' numbers. I definitely teased him a bit about that a while ago when I figured it out ;) I'm going to add that to my Christmas list too. Maybe I'll see "hot smokin' wife" in there come december. lol

Hate to admit, but he changed my name in his phone first. And I had to be prompted before I changed his name. I'm "Wife O' Mine" and he's "Mr. Husband." I guess it's not that practical for an emergency though... the police can hardly spend time searching for your favorite pet name in your phone haha.

my dad uses first and last names in his phone too. so official! i think i'm just plain old nessa in my hubbys phone. but i think a cute nickname would be much more fun!
Well, I think I'm just Libby in my hubby's phone, but in my phone he is listed as HUSBAND because there are already 7 Mike's in my phone and I'd really hate to send a personal text to one of them. You know...something embarrassing like: "I overloaded/broke the washing machine. Again." :p

ok, so i just changed my name in his phone a couple weeks ago! it was just kira and it bugged me that it wouldn't stand out to anyone seeing my name come up for a call. so now it is kira dawn yates cox, what he always calls me when he's being cute. and just in time for his phone to get stolen. we opted for the retired phone going back to work, though. we have stuck to basic phones forever! cute, though...i love how you are blogging a lot and how you've made it kind of interactive with the www. it's fun to read through your comments :) btw, i've gone through my contacts list and you are still in there, though I probably only used it once or twice...5 years ago? wow, time flies.

sometimes i think it's because everything is synced up now, so if he has Facebook on his phone for example, your name will come up as your first and last name or however you have it formally on FB or social network site or something. Cuz i used to be "moomie" in my husband's phone and then since we've gotten new ones it was my full standard name and i asked him and he said its cuz of fb and such. so that makes sense! but yes, they can still change it, what a wonderful christmas idea! ;D
oh, and i miss Cali, i grew up there and all my extended family lived in Anaheim and San Diego, you're so lucky you live there, yay!
