just some blah, blah, blah...

Ooooooh today... is just one of those days where I'm just... blah. but happy. Jeanne took me to lunch at the Hawaii Prince Hotel in Waikiki for the lunch buffet which was absolutely AMAZING! It was a pretty easy day but boy was I tired. I need to get a lot of sleep before I got out with Jeanne because boy she takes a lot of patience. It's good for me though. :)

And then for dinner, I had a bowl of ice cream and 6 oreos. Whoops... not so healthy but oh so delicious.

Oh and those who want Jeff's cd, I just got a big box of them today. They're $10 a cd (going towards the mission). I listened to it today and it's AMAZING! Way more amazing than that buffet today. So just let me know and I'll mail or bring one by. Hopefully I'll be bringing some to local radio stations this weekend.

I feel like moving in is a never ending process. Poor Cameron is repainting all the furniture but he's doing a great job. And I swear I have like triple the laundry here. Bigger house = more laundry.... weird.

I talked to my mom today and she said she took baby Charity to get her hair braided for the first time. Haha... so cute. Charity also said "i love you" over the phone today. Her mom has another hearing in August so we'll see what happens with her and her family. Oh ya... Charity's mom is pregnant again which will come to her favor in court. Bummer. This is her last month while I was home making a funny face

okay my eyes are burning. bed time.

my talented little bro.

I seriously have one of the coolest brothers around.
My 18 yr. old brother Jeff has composed and written a cd. It's kind of light reggae or what my dad calls "surf". He did every lyric, voice, and instrument all by himself.
This kid has got some amazing talent and doesn't really tell anyone about it. Well, there's no denying it now with this cd. He selling the cd's right now for mission money but go ahead and check out his music and play a few songs on

moving is great (after you've moved)

Moving is really the biggest pain but so nice once it's over!
We've moved from our little Hauula hut to Jeanne's 4 bedroom guest house. At first, Cameron and I were thinking, ah ya it'll be a couple trips with the car and that will be it! Haha... ya right. I wish. Two turned into maybe seven. I guess you don't realize how much stuff you really have till you clear it out of your house! So at least we've cleared out everything from the old house and into the new. And let me tell you, the space in the new place is unreal and it's so nice to live in a place that feels like a home rather than a hut. Huts are cute, but homes are comfortable. We have most of our stuff put away (except my never-ending pile of clothes) now we just need to paint a few things (maybe walls, we'll see) and we'll be settled in for good.

This last weekend (in the midst of our moving) we decided to neglect everything we needed to do, go downtown, and meet the Nelsons, Duffins, and Thompsons. We ate Panda Express and saw the new Batman Movie. It was so so so good! I would go see it again in a heart beat! I had a horrible ear ache during the movie but I didn't want to leave early so I withstood the pain. Right after the movie, we quickly headed to the emergency room to get my ear all figured out which got us home sometime after 2 am.

So needless to say, we've been quite busy. And maybe causing a little extra on ourselves. :)

Yesterday for work, Jeanne and I went out with a full list of errands to do. About 30 minutes into our drive, I realized Jeanne forgot to put in her teeth! I asked her if she did this on purpose and if she needed them for lunch but she said she forgot and it was more comfortable with out them. She apologized about a hundred times to me (which I could care less about her exposed gums) and told me I could act like I didn't know her and we could sit at separate tables at lunch. haha... I assured her that I did not care one bit and we went on our way.
Side note: If you're every in Pearl Ridge area and down for some good Thai food, visit Champa Thai (in Pearl Kai Shopping Center). Both Jeanne and I were very impressed with food, service, and price!

I'm hoping to post pictures of our new place when we get the painting done but who knows when that is going to happen... maybe this weekend? Lets hope so!

Relaxin'

Today was the Larson's last day at the mansion and so I decided that since from now on I'll be Jeanne's right hand woman, I should relax and enjoy my day off (because I probably won't be getting a day off any time soon). I worked a half day and spent the rest of the day at the beach laying out by myself, reading a new book by myself, swimming by myself, and then topping it off with getting a Slurpee by myself.
Then I visited Cameron and the boys who were having a speedo pool party at Jeanne's while Jeanne was out with Rachele... haha... that was interesting.
Then tonight Cameron and I went to the temple. It's been closed for cleaning so it felt like we haven't been there in so long! It was so nice and so peaceful to go. On the way home, Cameron and I ate some frozen yogurt. yummm...

We're moving into Jeanne's place soon!Jeanne and I last week at the movies.

treat.

Today was a "treat" as Jeanne would call it. Rachele and I both (usually it's just one of us) were privileged to go out with Jeanne today for lunch, a movie, and errands. We headed to Jameson's for lunch which both Rachele and I didn't think was all that great. Make sure you emphasize the letter "m" when you're ordering mahi or you might just get ahi.

After, we saw Kit Kittrege: An American Girl which ended up to be a really cute movie. It was hilarious to see Jeanne sobbing through most it. I'm a big American Girls fan but I think anyone would think it's cute. After the movie were errands.

On Tuesday Jeanne took me to Longhi's at Ala Moana Mall and it really wasn't all that impressive. I had a crab cake sandwich that was good and wasn't horribly huge but was $16.50! No sides, nothing! The beach view was great but overall the restaurant wasn't. I wouldn't suggest it.

Oh ya... and Jeanne told me that in some past life I was probably a shark because I eat so much... haha thanks Jeanne, never a dull moment with ya. She cracks me up.

Anyways so I came home to find a wonderful note from Cameron. He is so thoughtful. And this morning he picked a plumeria off of a very high tree (he let me know that) to put in my hair. He is so cute and I love spending every minute with him. It's seriously been such a blessing to get this job at Jeanne's because we have so much time together. That has been the best thing that has come out of this job (and obviously free rent comes second). While I was working in Honolulu, it just took a toll on us both being gone so long and all. It's just great being together so much more. Only one more week until the Larson's head to Las Vegas (who of course we will miss) and then we move into the guest house at the mansion. Work will be boring without the Larson’s!
