A few days before every trip, I always tell myself that it's too early to pack. Then later with cleaning a house, taking care of a little one, and last minute to-do's, I am always wishing I would have packed earlier. This time I have! Krew's clothes are all chosen and I'm already setting aside the goods. Amazing, I know. It only took me 20+ times to learn this. But here are some of my important items for my carry-on that can't be left behind.
My bag:

Scarf- I can't tell you how useful this was when it double for a blindfold so I could sleep. Let's be honest though, I'm not sleeping with an active little guy around.
Lipsticks/lip stain in bright hues- because why not?!
Wasabi seaweed- tasty and won't make me feel junky.
Socks- am I the only one who freezes on airplanes?
Dry shampoo- this is my little tester version I bought to try it out and I love it- really gives my hair a boost. Someday I'll venture into some other brands.
Reading material- I doubt there will be much time to read with hanging out with Krew but I've got my phone for any down time.
Little man's bag: (most likely these items will all go into my bag)

Snacks- the animal cookies I thought were genius. He will love talking about each specific animal and making each noise. We're needing some major entertainment here for this 5 hour flight ahead of us.
Books, finger puppets (many more to bring than just the turtle), his camera, cars of course, and Kleenex for a little runny nose.
Cameron will pack his own bag which I'm sure will have some surf wax stashed in it. We're off to Hawaii this weekend! Yayy! Hopefully this flight goes well. Last time we made this Hawaii flight, Krew was only 5 months old and he slept the
entire time. I have a feeling this flight may be a lot different. Either way, Hawaii here we come! I can't wait to wade in some warmer ocean water, eat at my fav HI places, and play on the north shore.
