I hate needles.

Soooooooo..... yesterday i had to get a TB test for work (as most jobs require here). I was dreading it all day. Cameron agreed to come with me because I told him that I might pass out. Sometimes I get dizzy when needles are around. Anyhow, we went to the north shore and then on the way back decided to go get the TB test done with. I started feeling dizzy right when i got there but worked through it until I got in the room to do it. I warned the nurse that I faint and she said okay and went on. It kinda hurt but wasn't bad and I finished. And then... I started feeling dizzy.

Okay that's the usual. I'll just put my head down in between my legs so I can get blood flowing back up to it.

Cameron called me back up to go and I didn't respond back. He lifted up my head and I was drooling! (how embarrassing!!) Several nurses and a doctor came over and about 45 seconds later I woke back up while crying. I said to them while crying, "I think I passed out." It took a while to get out the door and Cameron brought the car up to the front.
For making it through the TB test, Cameron got me a ice cream sundae for my treat. :)

I hate needles.

I felt bad for Cameron but it was kinda funny afterwards.

I went over and held neighbor baby Gwen today! She's adorable and so is miss Addy. And it's neighbor baby Eden's first birthday tomorrow!! Babies all over!!

Okay... well it's off to the gym. Gotta work off the tube of BBQ Pringles I just ate. :)

Crazy week so far... goodness. well i quit my job at Vanpool Hawaii and started a new one the next day. my last job was great and payed really well, but my new one is better. :) Now I'm working at a mansion in Hauula that is literally 2 minutes away and eventually Cameron and I will both be working there and living on the property in a 4 bedroom guest house for free (if everything goes as planned). But for now, I will be working part time at the mansion doing whatever Jeannie, the owner, wants me to do. I decided that I didn't want to remember Hawaii as , "oh, I worked the whole time in Honolulu" but rather as having tons of fun and more time with Cameron enjoying the island even if that means living a little tighter than before. So I will probably get another part time job to work at untill I start working full time at the mansion with Cameron.
It feels great though. I know it was a good choice and Cameron agrees with that. :)

so... this morning, Cameron and I headed off for the north shore at about 8 am and picked up Poppy on the way there. After checking a few points, rocky rights was chosen for this morning's surf sesh. Cameron was way excited to get out there and so we hurried out and I set up my little camp on the sand and wrote in my journal and read a bit.
the boys looked like they were having fun and to my suprise I looked up and saw Cameron coming in rather early. He had a bummed out face on, was limping, and I realize he broke the tip of his board off (still fixable though). bummmmer....I asked him how he did it and then he showed me his leg, his tip broke off by hitting his leg. (he was mostly bummed about his board) i got some stuff to clean him up from the life guard, got Poppy to come in, and headed home. Atleast Cameron said he got a good barrel on the wave he did the damage on haha...

I have a feeling that while living in Hawaii, we might be going through boards like underwear.
:) we'll have to make a board emergency savings account.

Okay... so Cameron saw my last blog (that I was so proud of) and was horribly embarrassed that I had posted those pictures of him surfing. So he kindly guided me to some better ones (thank you!) and so Cameron, this is for you. :)

!

Haha... I like the last one. Anyways, Cameron is very talented and so sweet. I just love him.
:)

Today Cameron and I drove to Honolulu together so I could go to work and he could go to the dentist. After, we went to Ross returned stuff and bought a plate ($2 was my budget :) ), went to Home Depot and bought a tool set for the Mr. and some gardening stuff for the Mrs, and then we topped it off with hot dogs and sodas for a $1.50 at Costco while picking up a few items. Those hot dogs hit the spot. And then off to Hauula to our little hut a la playa.

Sooo... it's FRIDAY!! Happy happy friday!! thank heaven it's the weekend!
Yesterday I got off early from work and spent the day with Cameron getting my hair done, taking a nap, and going to the temple. This picture wasn't us last night but a month ago or so. The temple is so amazingly beautiful and so peaceful to visit.
Sooo... here are some pics because I'm bored and I feel like I have a lot to catch up on!

Here is us at Waikiki Beach tandem surfing on a 12 foot board.... you can seriously catch anything with this boat!

Here we are again downtown Waikiki-->

Cameron surfin'...

Living in Hawaii has been an experience so far... it's wonderful but it does have it's down sides... gross critters... Last night, I was changing in my car before I went to the gym and i huge (i mean huge!!) cockroach crawled up my leg! Of course I was screaming and freaking out and Cameron thought something had seriously gone wrong, but it was NASTY!
Also, we've had unexpected visitors such as a rat in our bathroom this week (this is cameron setting the traps and we did catch it!),

a huge spider the size of my hand at the gas station,

and so many lizards and geckos I can't count!!
Don't get me wrong... Hawaii's wonderful. :)

Aloha!!
So I'm on my lunch break right now fixing up my blog!! I actually really like doing this.
I had a picture of our hut so I decided I should put it up. It's such an adorable little beach house, we love it. So things are going great. Cameron is busy with school and being the best looking Pizza Hut delivery boy around. He has fun there since his friends all work there with him. And I'm the working woman traveling downtown everyday and working at Vanpool Hawaii. Specifically, I do a lot of marketing and especially to the military.
Other than that, we have a great ward here that we love and never want to leave and great neighbors as well!
Cameron and I love being at the beach any time we can! Late Saturday afternoon there was a random swell at Sunset beach with waves close to 20 feet. I insisted that Cameron brought Andy and so the two of them went out surfing. After, the three of us had a nice little picnic on the sand. So much fun... Cameron and I love it here. It stinks that we can't just play all the time here but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
General Conference was wonderful as usual and Cameron and I watched that at the building because a. it's on live at 6 am in Hawaii, b. we don't own a t.v. or cable, and c. we focus a lot better there.
After we made yummy Sunday pizza's with poppy, blakey, and the Pierce family.
