Lindsay's Birthday

So yesterday was Lindsay's 23rd Birthday. She received a box in the mail from her mom about a week ago and has been waiting to open it ever since. I was woken up at 6:50 to a women saying, wake up, I'm going to open the present. She was like a little girl on christmas morning. She got this petunia pickle bottom bag from her mom which she loved.
So, she has been waiting to take me to Waimea Falls (I always insisted on not going). Her birthday was her one chance to get me to go. So after her class yesterday we to headed to Waimea falls. It was a very enjoyable walk with beautiful scenery. We took pictures and enjoyed each others company. Upon our arrival to the waterfall we took some pictures and then jumped in to swim under the waterfall. The water was kinda chilly at first but we warmed up to it and made it under the waterfall. It was really fun to swim with Lindsay and go under the waterfall with each other.

Isnt she beautiful

Once we finished our hike we found the peacocks which I had been looking for the whole time. Lindsay was terrified of them, two of them were coming towards her with their beeks ready and she avoided them like the plague. We found another one by our car and fed it some salt and vinegar chips, it loved em.

After our nice walk and swim we ate at Haliewa Eats and then came home to watch a movie. Lindsay was pretty tuckered out though and fell asleep about 30 mins. into the movie. That was the end of the big birthday girls day.
She is now one year older and wiser too.

p.j.'s

So I made some PJ's...

and they weren't for Cameron nor me nor Baby Rondo...

Mac got some new Pj's and I couldn't stop laughing after I put them on him. It's the silliest thing I've seen.

Since everything here gets rusty due to the humidity, I have been meaning to make a cover for the computer. So... ta-dah!

These are the days...

A few weeks ago we had a great weekend and I never documented it.

Friday started off with the most amazing beach day. No wind, nice sun, and good waves.

Cam's first time out...

And his second...

Saturday was also an amazing beach day but first we headed to Henry's 92nd birthday party!Even though we have moved out, Jeanne insisted that we come celebrate on this special day.
Henry is Jeanne's boyfriend (they've been dating for more than 35 years) and he had a big birthday bash for his 92. He looks great!

This is Henry dancing with his dance partner. Jeanne of course gets extremely jealous. This man on the right was Henry's friend who is 91 and was great entertainment on the ukulele!

Aaron and Erin dancing with the old folks! And Nancy did such a great job with all the food.

Singing happy birthday to the birthday boy!

Jeanne & Henry

At the birthday party, I opted out on wearing a extra large sweatshirt on this hot day and I exposed my belly in it's full glory. Cameron had let her know that I was pregnant earlier that week but she was a bit surprised how far along I was when she saw me.

Her response: "How did I not notice this?!!"
Ha ha... Mission "hide-my-belly-while-working-for-Jeanne"... ACCOMPLISHED.

Henry's party was great. His sister just turned 100-years-old last month so we won't be a bit surprised if Henry does the same.

We spent the rest of our Saturday floating around at Sunset beach (more me) and surfing at Turtle Bay (more Cameron).

We saw this beautiful rainbow which turned into a double rainbow which we were able to drive through! We agreed that was really good luck (double rainbow+ drive under it) and I figured it counteracted me breaking my full length mirror earlier that day.

28 weeks

28 weeks and the beginning of the last trimester!

I feel great! Feeling a little humpty dumpty lookin' (a large egg with limbs) but feeling great.

I love feeling Baby Rondo move around and kick. The kicks are getting a little higher now. I think I have been feeling his hiccups too.

Acid reflux is still my battle but I'm able to control it.

I started a Yoga class and I LOVE it! It feels incredible right now. Slow movements with lots of stretching is exactly my kind of thing.

I feel bad for my belly button. I think it will be nonexistent at the end of these 9 months. Cameron thinks it's funny to poke it-- I don't.

We have a pool of names for baby Rondo but no final decisions yet...

And thanks mom for the cute swimsuit!
