At 21 weeks, I'm half way along and it hasn't been that bad.
Sickness: There wasn't too much of it and it stopped after 12 weeks which was great. If I didn't eat as often as my body would want me to, I would throw up. It's been rather humorous. I threw up in the middle the Chinese New Year in Chinatown because I saw a dead bird on the ground. Everyone probably thought I was wasted. Or on my way driving to class, I manage to throw up covering myself from my hair to butt. Funny now, but not at the time. I obviously did not go to class that day.
Food: I don't have cravings, I just know what I
don't want to eat. And I might eat taco bell weekly but that has to stop because my acid reflux is killing me. No more spicy foods.
Pickles are good and I can easily finish a jar in a day but that is nothing new with pregnancy-- I've always loved pickles and pickle juice. Cameron thinks I'm weird.
Clothing: I'm in this weird zone. Most of my normal clothes are not zipping up but maternity clothes seem to be too big.
The baby boy: The kicks are so fun to feel! I've been feeling them a lot lately. Whenever class gets boring, I just am entertained by his little kicks! My baby is as long as a carrot!

The Jeanne BreakupBreakups are never fun to do. Towards the end of last week, we broke the news to Jeanne that we're moving out and quitting the job. Jeanne doesn't let anyone work there who has kids or is pregnant, even if it's just a day pregnant. She is a little old-fashion and feels extremely responsible for anything that could happen to the unborn baby while on her time. So therefore, it was time for us to quit.
We can't tell Jeanne the real reason why we're leaving (baby on the way) because she won't let me work the remaining time that we're here (that means I have to hide my little bump from her). We told her that my school schedule is crazy busy (which is in-fact currently true). She tried to negotiate with us so that we could stay with her longer and she pleaded with us to stay with her until her death. But I insisted that my school work plus her job would be too hard on me and that we better move out at the end of the semester.
I was almost hoping for her to get angry and throw a tantrum (which she is fully capable of and happens quite often) but she was just sad. And then it made me sad and... kind of relieved at the same time. :)
I'll be excited to start the next chapter of our lives even if it does mean going from a four bedroom house to a one-bedroom apartment. It will be so so so worth it. Jeanne's mansion has been an interesting learning experience for the last two years but baby or not, I'm definitely through with it.
Work with Jeanne thus far: Obviously, I'm still hiding it from her. I only got super sick once while i was with her and I made it to a bathroom soon enough. It's been hard to deal with her, not feeling myself sometimes, and massive school work on top of that. Sweatshirts or baggy shirts are a must for hiding the baby bump.
