A tour of our TVA crib

Don't you think the cinder block walls and church carpet are a nice touch?

We like it here! It may be a bit smaller than our last place but it's fun to be here.

made the move...

Cameron did some packing of his own while I was doing something else.
I came across his boxes and found that he got creative with his labeling. I wonder what our helpers thought? At least it gave me a good laugh...

We made the move from Jeanne's to TVA! After 2 years and 4 months in Hawaii, I guess it's time to experience TVA (Temple View Apartments). I love seeing friends all around and I'm glad we were able to stay in the ward! The first day I was unpacking by myself while Cameron was at work and I thought I kept hearing someone call my name. Then in came to me... my upstairs neighbor and side neighbor are both named Lindsa/ey as well so I wasn't going crazy. One thing that is driving me crazy is the rooster that crows at our window at 6:30 am every morning. Hopefully I'll become a little more immune to the noise or someone exterminates the rooster and all his friends in the meantime.

I'll post pictures of our humble abode once we finish unpacking and making all of our stuff fit!

A Fun Final?

I was dreading most of my finals this semester but luckily there was one out of the six that was actually enjoyable. I took a Clothing Construction Class this semester and this last week we had a finals fashion show. I decided to make something for Baby Rondo. I figured an Aloha shirt would be fitting for Hawaii and made a pair of denim shorts to go along with it.

Easter 2010

Holidays are always a little different when it's just the two of you but it's still fun. We had a great conference morning starting at 6am, slept in between sessions, and ended at noon. A great conference as always and so appropriate for Easter day.

Grandma Corky has a very elaborate Easter celebration every year at her house and she was so kind to send us our baskets across the ocean! Thanks Grandma Corky!

Even Baby Rondo got a few gifts!

We ate some deviled eggs...

Dyed some eggs which turned into an egg dying competition...

Here are my Easter eggs:

Here are Cameron's Easter eggs:

I thought they turned out fabulous-- our best ones yet. The rest of the day was filled with studying for finals week but it was fun to celebrate together in the little ways we can.
